Your Position Gallery

Every position you capture or import is saved in your personal GammonSnap gallery. All entries are kept together in one visual collection for easy access and review.

The original images make positions easy to recognize while browsing the gallery. Tap any image to see the position in detail together with its evaluation.

Export Multiple Positions

You can select multiple positions in the gallery and share them together as a list of XGIDs.
This makes it easy to export and reuse positions from different games or playing situations.

While many backgammon tools support XGIDs, only a few can handle multiple positions at once.
A great example is AnkiGammon (https://ankigammon.com), which allows you to import XGID lists and turn them into Anki flashcards.

This is especially useful for transforming real-game positions into a structured learning workflow and reviewing them over time.

Flashcards

GammonSnap includes a built-in flashcard system based on spaced repetition, a proven learning method for improving long-term memory.

Positions that are difficult for you return more frequently, while positions you already know well are shown less often. This allows you to revisit selected decisions over time without reviewing the entire collection in every session.

The flashcard overview displays your progress at a glance.
